MOVING UP CEREMONY EMCEE SCRIPT

LADY DEAN OF CEREMONY: Analiza T. Matus

Completion Ceremony is always a day of rejoicing for it marks the conclusion of a four-year
educational journey and the beginning of another more uncertain and more difficult part of man’s
quest for better life and future.

Today signifies the culmination of many years of hard work in the relentless pursuit of
knowledge; knowledge that will enable a person to embrace opportunities and take on challenges
with clear vision and purpose.

Friends, welcome to the 4th Moving Up/Completion Ceremony of Estefania Montemayor National High
School with the theme “Mag-aaral ng K to 12: Handa sa Hamon ng Buhay.”

With so much cheer, Ladies & Gentlemen, the Entrance of the Candidates for Completion.

(Processional)

Let us welcome the honor students with their parents led by _______________, 1 st Honors, and
______________ , 2nd Honors.
Entering the hall are the candidates for completion starting off with
the Grade 10 – Pisces, adviser Mrs. Leonisa F. Ferrer.

Approaching the aisle are the students from the Grade 10 – Capricorn, Ms. Analiza T. Matus , the
adviser.

Entering the hall are the candidates for completion from the Grade 10 – Virgo. Ms. Efcel P. Gajo,
the adviser.
Approaching the aisle are the students from the Grade 10 – Scorpio. Adviser, Mrs. Mary Loid I. Apin.

And entering the hall are the Grade 10 Open High School Program students. Adviser, Mr. Junard C.
Ricardo. Let us also welcome the pillar of this institution, the Estefania Montemayor National High School
faculty and staff, alongside our honoured guests today.

Members of the Grade 10 Class 2019, honoured guests, PTA Board of Directors, faculty staff, alumni
and friends. Today, another history slowly unfolds as we come to an end of the School Year
2018-2019. It’s been almost 10 months already that we have witness how these students proved
their worth to become a member of this year’s completing batch.

So to start with, we just want to greet the people who grace the affair. To our Division Personnel. Dr.
Ruth C. Gervero, to our distinguished and esteemed members of the academic community led by the
dynamic and supportive Principal III, Dr. Rolando B. Ricardo, Jr., the ever active Head Teacher I, Mamerto
C. Eusebio, Jr., Barangay Officials who are here with us today, members of the PTA, colleagues, parents,
guardians, visitors, friends, ladies and gentlemen, a pleasant, welcoming and joyous morning to each and
everyone!
Grace: To formally open today’s occasion, may we request everyone to please stand for the singing of our
National Anthem, the Lupang Hinirang to be conducted by Mrs. Mary Loid I. Apin
which then be followed by a Boost of Capiz Bests by singing the Capiz Hymn , Mrs. Mary Loid I. Apin,
still conducting. (Please be seated)

It’s always a pleasure to have family and friends of EMNHS students visiting our campus. Welcoming
you here for today’s event is especially meaningful as we honor our completers and celebrate their
achievement. To formally welcome us all, may I call in ____________, 2 nd Honors for her
welcome remarks.

Thank you, Laarnie. That was a warm welcome to our guests today. And now, the main highlight of
today’s affair is about to unfold in our midst. To do the honor of presenting this year’s candidates for
completion, may we have on stage the School Head of exemplary performance, none other than Dr.
Rolando B. Ricardo, Jr. to be followed right away by the acceptance and confirmation of the completers by
no less than our Division Personnel Assigned, Dr. Ruth C. Gervero.

How about another round of applause to your new completers, the Batch 2018 of Estefania
Montemayor NHS? (Thank you)
Dear completers, the moment you have been waiting for has finally come. The fruit of hard work
and discipline will finally be reaped. You will now be receiving your prized Certificate of Completion,
a symbol of accomplishment.
May we request Ma’am Ruth C. Gervero, together with Sir Ricardo to handling out the Certificate of
Completion to our completers, to be assisted by the Grade 10 Advisers. May I call in the adviser of
Grade 10 Pisces.

It is said that the quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to his or her commitment to
excellence regardless of the chosen field of endeavor. Ladies and gentlemen, let us recognize those
students’ ordinary things extraordinary well. Let’s move on to the awarding of Academic and
non-Academic Awards.

May we call in Maam Ruth Gervero and Sir Fuyonan to give the medals and certificate, and to assist may
we call in Mr. Mamerto C. Eusebio Jr, Head Teacher II and Mrs. Ma. Renalyn Llorac, PTA President.

The best way to boost this institution’s pride of how it has molded its students, is no other than

Thank you, Ma’am Rizzel for that meaningful and insightful speech and for that, may we request you to
be on center stage to receive the Certificate of Appreciation to be handed out by Dr. Rolando B. Ricardo,
Jr., Principal III. The certificate reads…
Thank you again, Ma’am Rizel for being with us today in sharing your success stories to our dear
completers. And now, to express the sentiment of Batch 2019, may we call in the Academic Excellence
Awardee, the Class 1st Honors herself, Rhiar Rose Hingras Humpay, for her Words of Gratitude.

Thank you, Rhiar for your words of triumph and victory! And Congratulations again!

Music is the expression of the soul. To move our emotions and feelings
through a song that emphasizes in believing in one’s self amidst challenges, let us hear the
community song of the completers, “FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS” that was trained by
Mrs. Mary Loid I. Apin and to be followed by a tribute song to their parents.

That was an awesome delivery of lines, action, and melody and I hope our guests think the same.

The Batch 2019 completers would have not reached this far, if not because of the people beside
them. The completers then wish to take this opportunity to thank their parents and
guardians for their unending support.

To end this memorable occasion, may we call in our Head Teacher I, Mamerto C. Eusebio Jr for the
Closing Remarks and some announcements.

Our memories of yesterday will last a lifetime. We’ll take the best, forget the rest, and someday we’ll find
that these are the best of times. Before we officially end, ladies and gentlemen, let us witness the Batch
2020 Completers in their Farewell Dance “The Best Day of My Life”

The closing has finally arrived. Tomorrow, new challenges and opportunities await our completers
that will further test their strength of spirit as improving individuals. As they continue with their
journey, may they look back to this stage in their life with fondness and pride. Ladies and
Gentlemen, this concludes the 4th Moving Up Ceremony.
